I'm super excited to be joining Frankford Middle School this year! This will be my first year at Frankford Middle School. I look forward to building relationships and creating a positive and engaging classroom atmosphere where students feel safe to express themselves, ask questions, and take risks. I will be teaching 8th grade English Language Arts, as well as coaching the girls basketball and track and field team. With a passion for education and a love for sports I will strive to empower my students to excel academically and athletically.

     I grew up in Plano and a graduate of Plano Senior High School. After graduating I earned my Bachelor's of Science Degree in Communications from University of Maryland. I then went on to receive my Master's of Science Degree in Sports Management from West Virginia University. After 21 years in Maryland I decided to come back to Texas and follow my passion as an educator and athletics coach in my hometown of "Plano". I hold my education certification from Southern Methodist University in English Language Arts and Social Studies with a specialization in ESL. When I'm not involved with various activites with my children and husband, I enjoy cheering on my favorite football team the Dallas Cowboys or enjoying a Marvel movie.
