My name is Vanessa Banda-Sias (but I just go by Sias, pronounced “see us”) and I am teaching Kindergarten this year at Jackson.  I graduated from University of Texas at Arlington with a communications degree and later received my alternative certification to become a bilingual teacher from Collin County Community College. This will be my 10th year of teaching and third year of teaching in Plano ISD. 

My husband, Jose, and I have 3 sons - a junior in high school, a 6th grader and a 2nd grader.  Between flag football, tackle football, soccer, basketball, track, triathlons and baseball- they keep us busy! In my spare time, I’m a photographer and I enjoy going to all the places and doing all the things with my family!
