I grew up in Lewisville, Texas, home of the Fighting Farmers and moved to Plano over five years ago.  I attended college at the University of North Texas at Denton for both my Bachelor of the Arts degree in English Literature as well as my Master of Education degree in Teaching. This 2023-2024 School Year will be my seventh year of teaching at Williams High School. This year I will be teaching mostly Honors English 2 classes as well as Academic Literacy 2. Prior to teaching,  I had experience working in the AVID program, Make-A-Wish Foundation, and in book publication. I'm looking forward to another fantastic school year with all of my students!
