Mr. Christopher Hammer
Greetings! I am the World History Team Lead and Speech/Debate Coach at Shepton High School. I have been teaching for 15 years; the past 12 years were spent in my current position. I have also taught 8th grade United States History and coached middle school football, basketball, and softball. I attended Shepton High School from 1994-96, and there are still 4 staff members remaining from when I was a student (but I'll let you guess who they are). I graduated from Plano Senior High School and the University of Texas at Austin. I enjoy working with students because they give me hope for the future (and I learn all of the cool new trends from them).
If you are a speech and debate competitor or parent, most of your questions about tournaments can be answered at this site. Click on the tournament location links for schedules, events offered, and more information.
If you are unable to log in to the online World History textbook, make sure you're using this link (not the hrwco app or support site for the publisher) and the login name/password are the student's network login and password from a school computer. For example, if a student's Google login is "John.Doe.1@mypisd.net" then the World History textbook login name would be "John.Doe.1" without the quotes.
