Mr. Brent Love

Hey!  I’m Brent Love, the Agricultural Science Teacher at BOTH Williams and McMillen High Schools.  This will be my 11th year here in the Plano School District, and I am thrilled to be a part of such a great group of people.  I grew up just an hour away from Plano in a small town called Blue Ridge, Texas.  I have been a part of the FFA since my 7th grade year of middle school where I showed pigs, lambs, and steers.  Growing up in a very small rural community, growing corn, grain, and hay were our summer vacations. FFA seemed to be a bigger deal than our football team, so it only seemed natural that I continue the trend into my college studies.  I am a graduate from Texas Tech University, with a Bachelors of Science in Interdisciplinary Agriculture an I graduated with my Masters Degree at Texas A&M Commerce in 2019.  As one of the many great advisors that we have in the Plano East FFA it is my job to ensure that our students are successful, not only in their FFA endeavors, but in the classroom as well.  This year I will be training Jr. Creed Speaking, Jr. Skills Demonstration, Quiz team, and Agri-Business as well as Dairy Foods and Entomology as well as assisting with Cattle Projects, rabbits, and for the entire district and Lambs for Plano East. Courses that are offered at the 9-10 level include Small Animal Management, Wildlife, Fisheries, and Ecology Management, Horticultural Science, Principles of AFNR, Livestock Production, and many more.  Looking forward to an AWESOME SCHOOL YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
