Ms. Tamar Naftaly

I am a transplant to Plano, TX by way of NY. I am really happy to be here and meet everyone! This is my sixth year teaching in Texas, I taught in New York City for nearly three years. I had the pleasure of spending some time working with the local government in New York City, which increased my love of history and government. I enjoy working with high school students; they really make each day exciting! I have a passion for history and am excited to share that with my students. I graduated in 2015 from Pace University in New York with a Master in Public Administration, with a focus on Government and in 2007 from Manhattanville College, also in New York, with a Master of Professional Studies, with a focus on Social Studies and Special Education.

I am proud to the be the Student Senate Sponsor as well as the NHS Sponsor. I have always been fascinated with how governments function and I enjoy sharing this passion with Student Senate.

If there are any questions, feel free to reach out and email me.  I look forward to getting to a wonderful school year and getting to know your children!
