B.F.A Visual Arts Studies
Ms. Cindy Vo
I teach 2D, 3D and Advance Art at Wilson Middle School. I grew up in Carrollton, TX, and attended University of North Texas 2009-2011, and have a B.F.A in Visual Arts Studies. My first artistic experience was when I was about 4 years old and my father had given me a box of Crayons and coloring page. I remember drawing, painting, and sculpting were my highlighted moments in Kindergarten because it helped me communicate to my peers and teachers. If you were to ask me what my favorite medium is, it would be simple graphite and ink. I also enjoy painting with watercolor, acrylic and oils.
Art is a valuable outlet for each individual to express themselves in visual and tactile ways that are important as a way of life, and surrounds us throughout every day life. Students identify themselves in Art in many ways, may it be: drawing, painting, singing, dancing, sculpting, and more. Exposure to these facets of creative outlets allow students have an opportunity to be enabled, and build confidence within themselves. The potential and possibilities are endless!
