  • MY WHY: I want to create a safe space for everyone so that they know they are respected, accepted, and most importantly loved.

  • Hi! I am so excited you're here.

My name is Sarah Wilson, and I teach 7th Grade English On Level and Honors, and Yearbook. I co-sponsor/ coach Cheer with Ms. Anderson. I am also the sponsor of the FMS GSA (Gay/ Straight Alliance). I love being part of such an amazing team of teachers here at Frankford and working with such amazing students every day!

The best way to reach me is via email at sarah.wilson@pisd.edu

I grew up in Plano, TX where I attended Saigling Elementary, Hightower Elementary, Haggard Middle School, Vines High School, and graduated from Plano Senior High School. It is so wonderful being back in the district which helped to raise me. After graduating high school, I attended the University of Central Arkansas in Conway, Arkansas where I was a photographer for the newspaper, worked for the yearbook, was Editor-in-Chief of the literary magazine, published a few short stories, and thoroughly enjoyed learning everything I could about writing. I graduated in 2013 with a BA in Creative Writing with a minor in US History.

In 2013, I began working for PISD as an AVID tutor at Williams High School and Plano East Senior High School. There I realized I loved working with teens and helping them learn. In 2015, I received my alternate certification and began teaching 8th grade writing in Denton ISD. In 2017, I returned to Plano ISD to teach 7th grade English here at Frankford.

In 2019, I graduated with my Masters of Fine Arts in Creative Writing for Children and Young Adults from Hamline University.
