Emily Schattle
5th Grade Team Leader
My name is Emily Schattle and I am the 5th grade team leader at Mendenhall Elementary. I graduated from Texas Tech University (Wreck ‘em Tech) in 2011. I moved back to Plano where I started my career at Mendenhall. I have since taught 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade. I will be teaching Reading & Science this year.
Along with teaching, I am one of the coaches for our Mendenhall Robotics Team. I am lead chair of the yearbook committee and coordinate the Mendenhall STEAM Expo/Science Fair. I love learning and watching kids learn.
I am looking forward to a fun and exciting school year!
