Dyslexia support teacher

It has been my pleasure to teach at Dooley for the majority of my teaching career. I graduated from Texas Tech University with my B.S. in Special Education and then got my M.S. in Reading education, also at Tech.  I am a Certified Academic Language Therapist with my training being done at Scottish Rite.  I enjoy working with Dyslexic students who participate in the Take Flight program.  I have three children who attended Dooley.  My oldest son works in Houston, my second son works in Austin, and my daughter is currently working in Denver. They all have fond memories from their years as Dooley Dragons.   I love helping kids learn, grow, have fun, and do a little learning along the way.
