Ms. Becky Lindquist

I am so excited about this year! This is my thirteenth year at Bethany and I have felt privileged to be a part of the 5th grade team for 10 years and two years in 4th grade. This year I get to return to the 5th! I am looking forward to teaching your students this year. They bring great joy to my life.
 

I taught preschool for a number of years and when my own children were in school, I decided to attend college full time. I graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas in the field of Interdisciplinary Studies in May, 2009. I am certified by the State of Texas from Early Childhood through 8th grade and ESL. After a few years of teaching, I decided to get another degree. I attended Texas A&M Commerce where I was an honor graduate, earning a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction in December, 2017.

I have two children, with one who graduated from Plano East Senior High and one who graduated from PISD Academy High School. I have one guinea pig named Cooper. I also adopted two rescue dogs named Zeus and Charlie.  In addition, in my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family/friends and doing anything outdoors, preferably in or around water. Also, I volunteer in three youth groups and sing in my church choir. 

This is going to be a great year at Bethany!
