Greetings!  I am excited to be teaching third grade.  It’s my twenty-eighth year in education.  Personally, my husband and I reside in St. Paul area right by Lake Lavon.  We are proud of our daughter, Arrin, who is a freshman this fall at UNT.  Also, I have two bonus sons and one daughter-in-law.  All three of them live in the Dallas area.  Maya and Charlie are sister lab retriever mixes.  Most adorable pups and, at times, mischievous, but we love them so much!  We love traveling and spending time out on the lake with friends and family.  I’ve been blessed to teach in Plano for twenty-six years.  Starting off, I taught third grade for ten years, PACE for fifteen years, and now I’m back in third grade since last year.  One year, I traded in my elementary hat for sixth grade Reading Language Arts gifted teacher in another ISD.  As you may have guessed, I missed elementary kiddos (and Plano) so I quickly returned.  I’m so thrilled to be here and teach Boggess Bengals again.  It really is the best place to be.  I learn so much right along with my students.  Maya Angelou says it best, “People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.”  I’m ready to partner with you and your child to make it the best year ever, again!
