Mrs. Ramirez is thrilled to be a part of Wyatt Elementary as the lead PACE teacher. She has been with Wyatt since the fall of 2003! Before becoming a PACE teacher, she taught first grade in Plano and third grade in Beaumont, TX, where her dad still lives. With a Masters in Elementary Education from the University of North Texas and a minor in Gifted and Talented, she LOVES working with PACE students.
When Mrs. Ramirez is not teaching, she spends her time with her family. Her husband, Phil, teaches at Collin College and loves music (especially records) and movies. Her children, Zoe and Trinity, attended Wyatt during their elementary years. Zoe graduated from the University of Texas in May 0f 2021 with a double major in History and Religious Studies. Trinity is attending the University of Texas at Austin this year, majoring in psychology. Going to see movies, playing with her lab-mix Rocky, and going out to eat are her favorite things to do with her family.
Any free time Mrs. Ramirez has is spent reading; historical fiction is her favorite genre to read, though she reads everything - young adult, non-fiction, middle grade, you name it! She would love to know what you are reading; she is always looking for new books to add to her TBR (to be read) stack.
Wyatt is the best elementary school! She is overjoyed to continue to serve this school and community.
