Hello, my name is Lisa Whitman and I teach 7th grade Texas History.  Before moving to History, I coached volleyball, basketball and track and taught Physical Education.  This is my 6th year teaching at Renner.  I last taught here from 1999-2004 where I was a PE teacher and coach.  I am a military brat and have spent most of my youth in Europe (Germany and Belgium).  My home is Allen.  I am married to an Allen Police Lieutenant and we have a beautiful daughter who is a FRESHMAN at the University of Texas at San Antonio, 2 cute dogs Layla and Ruby and a bearded dragon named Mango.  I'm thrilled to be a Renner Mustang and am enjoying sharing my love of history with my students.
