I’m a native Texan, a wife, a mother of five, and a grandmother to six adorable children. I’ve been at Robinson Middle School since 2002.  My hobbies include visiting my children across the US, reading, and attending Texas Ranger games, as I’m a huge baseball fan. I graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in education.  Because I am an avid reader, teaching English is a perfect fit for me, however, anyone can educate students to recognize nouns and verbs.  I choose to teach my students with an open and caring heart by reaching out to them and encouraging them to reach for the stars.  I love seeing former students who have become caring, well adjusted, and educated young adults, and it excites me to think I may have played a small part in their success.
