Mr. Grant Wilson

Greetings!

I am excited to be a counselor at Robinson Middle School and look forward to working with the students, families, and staff.

In August 2007 I began as a second career teacher in Frisco ISD teaching 6th, 7th, and 8th grade history and then transitioned to teaching 7th grade math for the next 4 years. While teaching math I discovered a desire to work with students on a deeper level and began working on a Masters of Education in School Counseling from Dallas Baptist University. I graduated in May 2013 and was fortunate enough to be invited to work as a middle school counselor in Plano ISD. Since then I have continued to learn and grow as an educator in order to meet the evolving needs of the students, parents, and staff in our community. One of my main goals as a counselor in Plano ISD is to create partnerships with students, parents, and teachers to help students discover a passion for lifelong learning.

I am fortunate to be supported by my wife, who is an elementary teacher in Plano and my 2 kids, both current Plano ISD students.
