Mrs. Jordan Rios
Greetings! My name is Jordan Rios, and I am the 7th-grade assistant principal at Frankford Middle School. This will be my second year as part of the Frankford family, but my first serving as assistant principal. I am excited to welcome our falcons back to school and help support their academic, social, and emotional growth. Please let me know how I can help!
This will be my 11th year in education, and my 6th year in PISD. Prior to my time at Frankford, I served as an instructional coach for Otto and Armstrong Middle Schools. I taught in both middle and high school, in science, math, and engineering in Carrollton Farmer Branch. I also had the honor of leading their STEM program, the Math, Engineering, Technology, and Science Academy. Throughout my career, I have been fortunate to see the effects master teachers have on their classrooms and students, and be able to work with these teachers in continuing to innovate and extend the learning opportunities our students have. It is my belief that we are in the business of learning, and we must continue to learn and evolve in our practice to serve our students and community.
I have been married for 12 years, and have two daughters, Alysse (9) and Olivia (6). We are a PISD family, with my daughters in an elementary school on the east side, and my husband and assistant principal at Plano East Senior High School. As a family, we are committed to serving our students, staff, school, and community.
