College:  University of Texas at Dallas - Bachelor of Science in Education

Teaching History:  I have been a part of the Plano ISD community for 25 years as a teaching assistant at Thomas Elementary, secretary at Hickey Elementary, and office manager and teacher at Sigler Elementary.  For the past six years, I have helped students build confidence and develop a love for reading through the Take Flight program.  I knew I found my home when I came to Sigler! This year I will step into a new role as an instructional coach and support teacher. 

Family:  My husband and I live in Plano with our two spoiled cats.  We have three grown children that all graduated from Plano East.  They all live nearby with their families.  We have three (perfect) grandchildren.

Interests and Hobbies Outside of School: My favorite activities outside of school revolve around family.  It doesn't matter what we are doing as long as we are together!  I am also an avid reader, love gardening, and exercising.
