I was born and raised in New England, but I have lived in Texas for over 30 years. I love and miss the snow.  These Texas Summers are much different.  I attended Wheelock College in Boston. I graduated college with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Psychology.  I am married to Coach Woodard, who will now be teaching at Hickey Elementary. We have been married for almost 24 years.I have been at Mathews for 23 years, most of which I have taught first grade.

We have two children (really, adults).  Hailey is about to turn 23 and is in her first year of Teaching in Sherman, Texas.  Ben is almost 20 and is attending Texas Tech.  

In my free time I love to hang out with family, read a good book, and play with my dog, Chance.
