Mrs. Khadija Lakey
Hello Bethany Bunch!
My name is Khadija Lakey and this is my thirteenth year teaching, all in Plano ISD and at Bethany Elementary! I have enjoyed every moment of being apart of the Bethany family. I absolutely LOVE teaching and watching children's eyes light up with knowledge. My goal is to help students believe in themselves inorder to reach their fullest potential.
On a personal note, I was born in Dallas but grew up in Richardson, Texas. I lived in the city for most of my life, but now live in the rural city of Farmersville. I have been married for 3 years come this October and we are excited to say we’re expecting our first child, a son, in January 2021! ❤️ I have 3 dogs and 2 mini horses. When I am not teaching or planning engaging lessons for us to do at school, I enjoy relaxing on my patio or swimming in my pool, watching movies, playing with my animals, and spending quality time with my husband and family.
