Welcome Rice Ravens!  I am so excited to teach math at Rice Middle School!  Watching students learn and grow has been one of my greatest joys as a teacher.  

I am originally from King of Prussia, Pennsylvania but have lived in the Dallas area for more than 35 years.  I have bachelor's degrees from Shippensburg University and University of North Texas.  In 2009, I earned my master's degree in Education from Lamar University.  I was a systems engineer for many years but switched careers after an experience volunteering as a mentor.  This is my 23rd year teaching in Plano and my 6th year at Rice!  It is going to be a wonderful year!
