I was born and raised in Arlington, Texas and I'm a proud 7th generation Texan! I completed my undergraduate degree at Texas A&M University (WHOOP!) and I earned my Master's Degree in Teaching Secondary Mathematics from Stephen F. Austin University! I am certified to teach P.E. as well as K-12 math!

I'm looking forward to my 5th year in Plano ISD! I enjoy working with the amazing students, staff and administrators at Schimelpfenig Middle School! I spent 14 years in Richardson ISD as a 3rd grade teacher, a campus math specialist and a district math specialist prior to moving to Plano. 

I'm married to my husband, Mike, and together we have two daughters, Aubrey (14) and Olivia (12). We have two Chinese Shar-pei's named Oliver and Teddy. In my free time I enjoy Crossfit, shopping and spending time with my family. 

I look forward to another amazing year at Schimelpfenig!
