IT'S A GREAT DAY TO BE A STALLION!!!  My name is Matt Stakes, and I am very excited to be a part of the Shepton family.  My wife and I love to travel and do everything adventurous. Hiking, traveling, SCUBA, and photography are among my favorite things to do in life.  I graduated from the University of Texas at Tyler with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management.  After working in senior care (aka retirement homes) for 4 years, I decided I was more drawn to helping the other end of the age spectrum.  I then went on to get my Teaching Certification through Texas Teachers (a wonderful Alternative Certification program that many teachers throughout Texas use).  I am fortunate enough to work in the Social Studies department teaching World Geography, and I love every minute of being able to interact with my students.
