"Plano ISD’s reputation for excellence does not come by accident. It comes from dedicated employees like you, who know what it means to consider the individual needs of each child in our school district," said Board President Missy Bender.
Superintendent Sara Bonser spoke from her heart in her keynote. "We are a team, a family...Helping students achieve their highest level of success both academically and personally, is the most worthy and important mission we can achieve as a team of professionals. It is not a small task, it is not for the timid or the fearful. So I ask, will you be bold and fearless in your actions in pursuit of our students’ success?... It takes courage to ask the questions, to seek the answers, and to take action to ensure student success in all its many forms. The students are counting on us...Are you willing to do what it takes not only to offer the opportunity for students to learn but to ensure that they do? I challenge each of you to make this your personal mission starting now." View the video to listen to all of her inspiring words. Keynote begins at 51:00. (Video length 1 hr., 15 min.).
