Title 1 Specialist

This is my 14th year in education, and my second year at Frankford Middle School. I am a PISD graduate from Plano East Senior High, and I earned both of my degrees (B.A. and M.A.) from Southern Methodist University. PONY UP!

Previously, I taught English/Language Arts and reading.  I love reading a good book- recommendations are always welcomed! This will be my second year as the Title 1 Support teacher, and I am so excited! I am ready to serve our students, parents and staff. 

While I am not at school- I love to travel, do yoga, try new foods, drink lots of coffee and spend time with my friends and family. In addition, I play the piano and teach piano, too. 

My WHY: I want to make students feel welcomed, loved, safe and accepted. I aspire to be an advocate and a voice for those that feel unheard. I believe each student has something wonderful to offer, and I hope to be able to bring that to light for them.
