Hi there!! I am originally from the DFW area and am in my third year of teaching high school at Clark! I began my teaching career in the middle of COVID and have not looked back. I look forward to the opportunities to get to know my students over the course of the year. I got my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in English Literature from Texas A&M University (Whoop!), where I also played collegiate soccer. As you can imagine, I love all things reading, writing, and discussing and I thoroughly enjoy watching and talking about sports (particularly soccer). 

My husband and I have a one year-old daughter and a two year-old husky, and BOTH are full of energy! We consider ourselves coffee and cooking connoisseurs with a deep love for travel and learning from other cultures. We have lived in both China and Thailand for periods of time and are always on the hunt for some authentic Asian cuisine in the area.

I will be teaching ESL this year and I can't wait to get to know my students!
