Sara Ricks

I teach 7th grade ELAR at Otto Middle School. I also coach basketball, track, and cross country for OMS. This is my second year at Otto Middle School and my third year teaching. My first year of teaching, I taught 6th grade math at Bowman Middle School.

 

I graduated from Oklahoma City University in the Spring of 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. I played soccer at OCU for four years. Playing college soccer taught me how to balance my extra-curriculars and my academics. I am hoping to translate that skill to my students.

 

I grew up in Keller, Texas and graduated from Keller High School. I have an identical twin sister who is currently playing professional soccer overseas. In my free time, I enjoy playing volleyball, soccer, and running. 

 

I am looking forward to an exciting school year!

 

  • Tutorials:

    Tuesday Afternoon- 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM

    Wednesday Morning- 7:45-8:25 AM

     

    Once basketball season starts, I will move my Wednesday morning tutorials to Monday afternoon. If a student can only attend tutorials in the morning, they will need to schedule an appointment with me.
