Greetings,

I am Sean Hughes, the Computer Science 1 Facilitator for 2nd year learners at Academy HS.
I have been teaching since 1998. Mostly, I have taught middle school. However, I am so excited to move to the high school level, and feel so honored to be teaching at PISD Academy High School.

A little bit about me: I have 2 wonderful sons; Dylan (he is in the Air Force) and Joseph (he will be a senior at Sachse HS this year), whom I am so proud of. I have a dog, Snuggles, who is my buddy. As stated above, I've been teaching a long time. I have taught here in Texas and in California as well. In fact, it was in California that I began teaching technology to students. I have a Bachelor's of Education from Texas Tech (class of '97), and a Master's of Education in Instructional Technology. When I came back to Texas, I taught at Hudson Middle School and Bussey Middle School in Garland ISD.

I can't wait to start teaching the 2nd year students at Academy HS. I know this will be an awesome year.
