Combining Jobs
If you are looking to work more hours or combine two different jobs, please let the hiring manager know during the interview process. Jobs such as cafeteria specialists, PASAR activity specialists, and bus drivers/assistants can be combined to offer extra hours after the primary job is completed. For example, cafeteria specialists who work until 2:30pm may then choose to work as a PASAR activity specialist until 6:30pm to earn more hours. Bus Drivers/Assistants may also choose to pick up extra work as cafeteria specialists during the break between their morning and afternoon shifts.

Criminal History Guidelines
Every person who wishes to serve as a District employee, volunteer, camp counselor, private teacher or contractor, or any other person who will have contact with District students shall have a criminal history search performed. More information
The 80th Texas Legislature passed Senate Bill 9 (SB 9), which mandated the Texas Education Agency (TEA) to acquire criminal history through fingerprint submission on: (1) all certified educators who are currently employed, (2) all substitutes and (3) non-certified employees hired after January 1, 2008. This process requires the individual to hold a state-issued driver's license or state-issued ID card.
