Mr. Shane Hemby
I was born and raised in Dallas, TX. I attended Texas A&M University and earned a degree in Industrial Engineering, with a minor in Safety Engineering. After graduation, I worked in pharmaceutical and medical device sales for 20 years before deciding to become a teacher.
I had some amazing teachers in high school. Several of those teachers made a big difference in my life, and I hope to have a positive impact on my students the way those teachers had a positive impact on me. I hold my students to a high standard, but I am always willing to help them. It is my goal that each and every one of my students understands more about math, more about life, and more about themselves when they leave my classroom.
I have a wife of 20 years, two children, and I have lived in and been a part of our community in Plano for over 15 years.
