Heather Marek

After I graduated from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas, I began teaching in 2001 here in Plano ISD. I have taught 1st and 2nd grade and now work as a dyslexia therapist. I love working in the area of reading and spelling with your children-it is so rewarding to see their “aha” moments occur as we work through our lessons. I am married to my best friend; Scott, and we have three precious daughters. We love spending time together riding bikes, playing games, and swimming. In the fall, you can find our whole family huddled around the TV watching our Texas Aggies play snuggled up with our dogs. I love being a Boggess Bengal!
