Board Member Sam Johnson

Sam Johnson was elected to his first term on the Plano ISD Board of Trustees in May 2025. A lifelong resident of Plano and proud product of Plano ISD schools, Mr. Johnson graduated from Plano Senior High School, earned an undergraduate degree in Government, and subsequently received his Doctor of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law-Houston.

Mr. Johnson owns a business and real estate law firm, is a published author, and regularly teaches continuing legal education courses at conferences and for legal organizations. He has served on several community nonprofit boards and on the City of Plano Board of Adjustment. Mr. Johnson is also a volunteer and PTA member at his children’s schools. He and his wife have three children attending Plano ISD schools.
