COVID-19 Test-Confirmed Cases by Location
The chart below provides our Plano ISD community with a summary of test-confirmed COVID-19 cases. The student counts include both School@Home and Face-to-Face learners. This summary reflects test-confirmed cases by location since August 12, 2020, and is updated daily Monday through Friday.
Families and staff members will be notified via an email letter if a confirmed case has been identified at their campus. Students and staff members who are identified as close contacts of the confirmed case will be notified directly. This data reflects confirmed cases since the first day of school, August 12, 2020. Cases prior to August 12 are not reported below.

Case Definitions & Data
Active: A current test-confirmed case where a student or staff member is currently under quarantine.
Recovered: A case that is no longer active in which the student or staff member has completed the required quarantine and is cleared to return to school or work.
Texas Public Schools COVID-19 Data: The Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) is working closely with the Texas Education Agency (TEA) and the Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM) to monitor, track and coordinate public health responses to COVID-19 cases in Texas public schools. The Texas Public Schools COVID-19 Data Dashboard reports positive COVID-19 cases and close contacts for school campuses. Case information is provided for students, teachers or staff members who participate in any on-campus activity and are test-confirmed or close contacts with a test-confirmed COVID-19 case. On-campus includes activities that are on the campus grounds, on a school bus or at any public school or district facility hosting a school event.
