Programs of Study
Through learning experiences in innovative and rigorous Career and Technical Education Programs of Study, Plano ISD CTE students will become leaders ready to impact the global workforce in high-wage, high-demand career paths. CTE courses are grouped into career clusters (defined by Texas Education Agency) and within each career cluster, courses are grouped into programs of study.
Programs of study provide students with a course sequence that ties to an endorsement and offers a strong vertical alignment between secondary and postsecondary education. The suggested course pathways are intended to provide guidance to students seeking college and career readiness through course content and industry-based certifications. Students are strongly encouraged to pursue programs of study in their areas of interest.
