Arts, Audio Visual Technology, and Communications Programs of Study

Audio/Video Production

The Audio/Video Production program provides the skills and experience to produce, edit and distribute high-quality media content for film, television, music and digital platforms — all while building a standout portfolio.

This program is offered at the Plano ISD CTE Center.

Fashion Design

The Fashion Design program immerses students in the creative and technical aspects of the fashion industry — from sketching and garment construction to textile science, merchandising and marketing — while preparing them for diverse careers in design, retail and promotion.

Video Game Programming

The Video Game Programming program lets students level up their skills in coding, design and computer science. From creating interactive 2D and 3D games to building apps for mobile and desktop, students learn what it takes to bring game ideas to life.

Animation

The Animation program of study introduces animation concepts and provides hands-on experience with industry-standard tools and motion capture systems used in media, gaming and motion graphics.

Graphic Design

The Graphic Design program blends creativity and technology to produce impactful visual content — while gaining real-world production experience in the CTE center’s professional print shop and building a portfolio that stands out.
