Various types of long-term debt have been issued by Plano ISD for the acquisition, construction, addition or renovation of facilities and purchase of equipment. The Debt Service Fund accounts for payments of principal, interest and related fees on the District’s general obligation bonds. We are committed to providing Plano ISD taxpayers information regarding the district’s debt obligations in a format that is transparent, easily accessible and understandable.

The 2025-2026 fiscal year is July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026.

2025-2026 Tax Rate:

  • Maintenance & Operations Tax Rate: $0.80220

  • Interest & Sinking Tax Rate: $0.23735

  • Total Tax Rate: $1.03955
