Student Teachers
Plano ISD welcomes student teachers during the fall and spring semesters. Please note that student teacher requests are handled through Human Resources; students or representatives of requesting programs should not contact campus staff directly.
All student teacher candidates must be entering the final semester of the teacher preparation program; and, upon successful completion of student teaching and any other program requirements, be eligible for a Texas Standard Teaching Certificate. Plano ISD does not place student teachers in paid internship assignments.
Deadline for Placement Requests
- Fall Semester-- April 1st
- Spring Semester-- November 1st
