Accessibility Limitations
- It is not recommended that teachers use Google Sites for parent communication or student instruction.
- Google Sites has limited support for accessibility. There are little to no accommodations built into the platform.
- Visitors to the Google site who have hearing loss, vision loss, or any other kind of accommodation will not have the tools they need.
- It is acceptable to use as a tool for students to show what they know or as a long-running portfolio.
- Google Sites for student work is an excellent way to build their digital literacy and give them an easy point of entry when building their first website, as long as they do not require the accessibility features.
