Keyboarding Skills

• Becoming a proficient typist is a valuable skill that helps us be more efficient and productive in the classroom and workspace.
• Typing.com is a TEA approved FREE typing game that teaches the keyboard, starting with the home row and finger position.
• They help you memorize the keyboard over time and give feedback on accuracy and speed.
• Teachers (and parents!), typing practice is a great supplemental activity to have students work on when they have about 15 minutes.
