The Multilingual Education Department supports the ESL and Dual Language programs.
State Policy
"It is the policy of the state that any student whose home language is not English and who is identified as having limited English proficiency must be given a full and fair chance to take part in a Bilingual Education or English as a Second Language (ESL) program. This requirement is established by the Texas Education Code, Chapter 29, Subchapter B."
