The Languages Other Than English Department uses a natural approach combined with a proficiency-focused, performance-based curriculum, guided by the principles of the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) and the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) for Languages Other Than English.
