Purchasing Services

Welcome to the Purchasing Department

The Purchasing Department at Plano Independent School District is responsible for acquiring goods and services in compliance with state and federal laws to support the needs of District campuses and departments while ensuring the best overall value for the District. To learn more, please select the Doing Business with Plano ISD and Bid Process links located in the upper menu on this page.

Plano ISD’s Purchasing Department utilizes an electronic bidding system, Ionwave, to manage all solicitation opportunities. Vendors interested in doing business with Plano ISD are encouraged to register as suppliers within the Ionwave system. During registration, prospective vendors will identify the products and/or services they wish to provide to the District. This allows vendors to receive email notifications when new solicitation opportunities are released.

To register in the District’s e-bid system, please follow the link below and select “Supplier Registration” to begin the process.
