Mrs. Susy Gulley
Experience in Education: This is my 24th year as a music educator. I have worked with kids as an elementary music specialist, a middle school and high school choral director, a church music director, a private piano and voice instructor, and as a director with the Children’s Chorus of Collin County. I’m excited to be a Hunt Hound this year!!
Background: I grew up in Richardson, Texas and started singing in the church choir at the age of 3. I have always been involved in music; from school band and choir to performing in musical theatre productions and singing solos. I started piano lessons in third grade and have been playing ever since! I am frequently hired to clinic (guest direct) choirs all over the area, including the honor of guest clinician for the region 20 6th grade chorus.
Interests: I enjoy spending time with my family, especially serving as a band mom for my son in the McMillen HS band! I have a small urban farm where I raise chickens and miniature goats and vegetables for fun. Favorite pastimes are reading, sailing, playing in my classic rock cover band, Yardgoat, cooking, and travel.
