Miss La Toya Jackson

Greetings all,

I'm so blessed to be in this district this is my 11th year as a  6-8 grade Special Education teacher and Assistant Team Leader of Special Education. I have one child Nydia who is 16 years old and attends Rowlett High School in Garland. In addition to teaching, I enjoy singing, shopping, reading and being around my family and spirtual family. I'm active in my church activites. I'm a youth counselor. I was born and raised in Garland Texas. I attended elementary, middle and high school in Garland ISD. I'm proud to say that I have taught on the elementary and high school level and now back to middle school. I love that I get to influence my students to this thing we call life.
