Mr. Matt Hudnall aka: 'Mr. Hud' teaches 7th & 8th Grade Science and is our campus Science Fair Coordinator.

8th Grade Syllabus

About: Matt was born and raised in Gainesville, FL. He left Florida in 1998 to pursue a career in the Air Force where he served proudly for 10 years.

Teaching Experience: Mr HUD has been teaching for 10 years; 8 years teaching science and 2 years teaching P.E. & engineering. 

Education: Business Administration from Trident University International in Cypress, CA, Masters Degree in Human Relations & Business from Amberton University, Garland, TX & a Graduate Certificate in Conflict Management and Resolution also from Amberton University, TX.

Working Career: Before working in education, Mr. Hudnall worked as a cook, a mechanic, an EMT, a GM for a major cable provider, and as a Construction Project Manager. 

Military Career: While in service Mr. Hudnall attended Jump School, S.E.R.E school, served in the Iraq War, and was an Air Force TACP before cross training to become a medic. As a medic, Matt served in the Iraq War and worked in multiple Emergency Departments Stateside before completing his time in service and moving to Texas in 2008. 

Family Life: Outside the classroom, Matt enjoys camping, adventure, sports, music, cooking/grilling & just hanging out with his family ~ wife Emily and three sons, Colton, Lukas, & Isaac
