Degrees and Certifications:
Ms. Amanda Huynh
I am a registered nurse with a passion for patient-centered care. I have a Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology (2008) and Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (2014) from Texas Women’s University.
I worked at UT Southwestern Medical Center in the Adult Cardiovascular ICU before I transitioned into School Health.
I believe in the importance of education and giving back to others. I have served on a medical mission trip to the Dominican Republic in 2014, in which I worked with a team to provide medical care and construction to those people in need. I also sponsor a child in El Salvador through a program called Compassion International, in which the child receives needed resources with education being one of them.
My goal is to support the children and educators at Stinson elementary by engaging them in learning about health and wellness and by encouraging them to make healthy choices in diet, fitness, hygiene and safety. I look forward to getting to know Stinson’s students, families, and staff!
