Hi! My Name is Ms. Kara Torres! I live in Plano with my daughter and our gaggle of kitties. I enjoy traveling & being with friends and family. My favorite sports are hockey and soccer.  I am excited to be your child's 2nd grade teacher and to make this our best year yet!

I graduated from Texas Woman’s University in 2010 with my Bachelor’s in Interdisciplinary Studies specializing in EC-4. I graduated from The University of Texas at Arlington in 2018 with my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction in Mathematics. I completed the Principal Certification Program through UTA in 2020. My teaching career began in 2010 and I have loved each year! I have taught 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades.
