Ms. Carmen Trigo
This is my first year teaching here at Plano East Senior High. I am beyond excited to use my knowledge and experience, as well as my passion for teaching, to make a positive difference in the lives of each and every one of my students. I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of North Texas, and received my certifications in English Language Arts grades 4-12, and English as a Second Language (ESL). I was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, so I speak fluent Spanish and enjoy working with English Language Learners.
Plano ISD is where I grew up and received my education. I have never forgotten what it was like to be a teenager. After many hardships I endured in my adolescent years, I decided to dedicate my life to ensure that no child struggles academically. It is with empathy, compassion, and determination that help me ensure that every student I teach unlocks their full potential to succeed. I want my students to dream big for the bright futures they all deserve!
In addition to teaching English IV this year, I will also be assistant coaching our Panther cheerleaders. I'm looking forward to a great year! Go Panthers!
