Brittany Henderson earned a BFA in Studio Art from Abilene Christian University and her M.Ed from Northeastern State University in Oklahoma, where her graduate research focused on STEM subjects and girls’ participation in STEM subjects. As a young teacher, she pursued a transition from the classroom to nursing but realized that she had a passion for education more than medicine. This unique background of art and science has led her to teach visual art and science at various levels for over a decade. She is passionate about combining these strengths in her position as a physics teacher.

When not at school Mrs. Henderson likes to read books on a good patio, have brunch with her family and explore new places.
