Special Education Teacher

Hi! I am Batool Abbas, Special Education Resource Teacher at Beverly Elementary. I graduated from Texas Woman’s University with a Master’s Degree in Education. I majored in Special Education with a diagnostician certification. This will be my fourth year at Beverly Elementary School. I have 15+ years of teaching experience. I was an Educational Diagnostician for two years also.

 I have lived in Plano for the last 25 years. Recently, we moved to Frisco.  I have two beautiful girls. My oldest daughter is a Dermatologist and my younger daughter just started medical school.  .   

 I am a firm believer in building strong relationships with students and their families. I know that all students can be successful with the right support system and look forward to continuing Plano’s commitment to help students reach their potential. I am so excited to be here at Beverly Elementary!
